Solihull is a short train from central Birmingham, so you are only minutes from the studio. Birmingham Tattoo College trains new artists in small, supervised groups on real skin, and getting in from Solihull is quick by train or bus.
We welcome students from across Solihull, from Shirley and Olton to Knowle, Dorridge and Hall Green. Both the 10-day beginner course and the shorter fine line courses are within easy daily reach.

Travelling from Solihull to Birmingham
By train or tram
around 10 minutes by train from Solihull into Birmingham Moor Street. Birmingham New Street is one of Birmingham's best-connected stations and the studio is a few minutes away.
By road
about 20-35 minutes by road via the A41 or M42 depending on traffic. In practice the Metro or a train is usually faster than driving into Birmingham.
By bus or coach
frequent bus routes connect Solihull with Birmingham city centre all day, dropping you close to the studio.
Solihull is close enough that no accommodation is needed; most students travel in each day for both the 10-day and the fine line courses.
